SWTOR Leveling Tips

I know a lot of people want to know what's going on in Star Wars: The Old Republic which just came out in December. The game has kicked off great, it reached #4 game on Xfire in January. Founder Titles and Medals are going out if you purchase a subscription before March 19, 2012.

I thought I might give some tips for those out there who want some advice. I have personally tested this and seen good results, if you play TOR give this a shot!

1. Quest Quest Quest (ALWAYS FOLLOW SIDE QUESTS!!!)
2. Always do your Flashpoints for good gear.
3. PvP is a good way for low-level leveling.
4. Do your heroics.
5. If all else fails, grind your way up.

Classes

Each class has its own story line and characters. At level 10 you'll be able to specialize your character by choosing between two advanced classes (listed in parenthesis).

Galactic Republic

• Jedi Knight (Guardian/Sentinel): Lightsabers and the Force, of course
• Jedi Consular (Sage/Shadow): Healer and master of the Force
• Smuggler (Scoundrel/Gunslinger): Stealth class
• Trooper (Vangaurd/Commando): Packs the firepower

Sith Empire

• Sith Warrior (Juggernaut/Marauder): Your typical lightsaber-weilding Force-choking Sith
• Sith Inquisitor (Sorcerer/Assassin): Master of the dark side
• Imperial Agent (Operative/Sniper): Stealth attacks, sabatage, and assisination
• Bounty Hunter (Powertech/Mercenary): Geared up for any job
